The Bucks 11 Plus Test

The 11 Plus is a test which is undertaken by students at primary school in certain areas of England and Northern Ireland. The test can be an emotionally draining experience for children, as well as testing their abilities from an academic standpoint, so finding the right tutoring and support is essential. 


The test covers many different areas with each student required to demonstrate their expertise and potential in these core subjects. The questions asked vary depending on the test provider (GL Assessment or CEM) and the local authority organising the test.


The grammar schools in Buckinghamshire use the GL test format which covers: Comprehension, Technical English, Verbal Reasoning, Mathematics & Non-Verbal / Spatial Reasoning.
